Recently, “Yuru-Kyara” is getting increasing in every part of Japan. “Yuru-Kyara” is a character which act as a mascot character for a city or prefecture and its form is based on famous produce or feature in that region. Generally speaking, “Kumamon” in Kumamoto prefecture or “Funassyi” in Funabashi city are famous. However, the first “Yuru-Kyara” are maybe a green dinosaur and a red yety, which name is “Gachapin” & “Mukku”, a mascot character of TV program, “Hirake! Ponkikki”. About 40 years have passed since they appeared in that program, and they were reborn in 2014. Here it is.
